The traditional Irish Aran sweater is known worldwide for it’s for its warmth and comfort. This Ladies Hand Knit version is made from a special type of wool producing very soft natural fibers. Each Aran sweater is hand-knitted in Donegal by Rosaleen Hegarty. Hegarty and her group of knitters have used this specially spun Irish wool for the 40 years she and company have hand knit Irish Aran clothing. Each item is guaranteed and well known for their quality and softness.
The patterns popularly purchased are the Blackberry and Diamond styles, but others are available. Three colors are available: Turf, Natural White and Oatmeal.
