Inductees Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame September 15th

The annual ceremonies and dinner for The Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame will take place September 15 at Hawthorne Race Course. Among the 2010 inductees are NCAA Champion Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski, future Baseball Hall of Famer Frank Thomas, Chicago Blackhawks Chairman “Rocky” Wirtz and Pro Football Hall of Famer John Hannah. Awards such as the Ray Meyer College Coach of the Year Award, the George Connor Lifetime Achievement Award, and awards and noted achievements based of the recipients’ careers will be handed out on this prestigious evening.

Proceeds from the 2010 Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame induction dinner will benefit the Father John Smyth Standing Tall Foundation and the National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter.
